Security Labelling Scheme for Smart Devices
Australia’s new Security Labelling Scheme gives consumers clear, trusted information about a connected device’s security at the point of sale, backed by the Department of Home Affairs and the Connected Technology Alliance under the national 2023–2030 Cyber Security Strategy. Securus Labs is one of only three Australian laboratories participating in and helping shape the scheme, with a pilot now open for expressions of interest ahead of the 2027 launch.

Alan is one of Australia’s leading cryptologists with over 30 years’ experience. Alan specialises in High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment (HACE).

Yes, our laboratory is ISO/IEC 17025 certified by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), and we are licenced as an Australian Information Security Evaluation Facility (AISEF).
What evaluation frameworks do you assess against?
We evaluate against Common Criteria (CC), Evaluation Assurance Levels (EALs), Australia’s Security Labelling Scheme (SLS) and bespoke high assurance frameworks tailored to your product.
Do you support products after certification?
Yes, we provide evaluation maintenance, annual reviews and re-certification support for the life of your certification, usually five years.
